The Moose Jaw Midget Triple A Warriors posted a 3-1 win Sunday over the Beardy's Blackhawks.

 

The Moose Jaw Midget Triple A Warriors posted a 3-1 win Sunday over the Beardy's Blackhawks.

Story:  The Moose Jaw Midget Triple A Warriors came from behind to beat Beardy's 3-1 Sunday at the Civic Center.

Beardy's was first on the board as Clark Breitkreuz scored in the first to give the Blackhawks a 1-0 lead after one.

Moose Jaw was able to tie the game in the second with an unassisted goal from Andrew Herle.

The Warriors took the lead in the third on a Mitch Dougall goal, and the insurance came from John Calkins who was the Moose Jaw player of the game.

Moose Jaw goalie Dustin Lehne made 26 saves in the win.  The Warriors were 0/2 on the power play and 2/3 on the penalty kill.

Moose Jaw is 8-3-2-1 and tied for third with the Prince Albert Mintos.  They're five back of 2nd place Tisdale, and seven back of first place Regina.

The triple A's are off until November 13th when they'll head west to Swift Current.
