A tripped breaker was the cause of Sunday's short-lived power outage in Moose Jaw.

Sask Power says 5,590 customers were without power for 36 minutes Sunday morning due to a tripped breaker at the Moose Jaw north substation.

The outage was first reported at 11:23 a.m. Sunday morning and was restored at 11:59 a.m.
