Two local minor hockey teams hit the road into the Queen City on Tuesday night for games in the Hockey Regina League.

The Moose Jaw Bantam A Warriors suffered a 6-3 loss to the Regina Shamrocks at the Al Ritchie Arena.  Moose Jaw scored in each period, but two goals in the first and three in the second from Regina was too much to overcome.

Nicholas Lougheed had a goal and two points in the loss, while Jacob King and Eric Woit had the other goals for Moose Jaw in the loss.

Moose Jaw falls to 1-8-1 on the year. They return to the ice on Friday when they travel back to Regina to face the Royals.

In the Atom A Division, the Warriors battled the Regina Blues to a 6-6 tie at the Cooperators Centre.  That puts their record 0-8-1 on the year.

The Warriors will head to White City on Wednesday night to battle the Prairie Storm Lightning. Puck drops at 6:30 p.m.

In Moose Jaw house league action, the Panthers skated to a 4-3 win over the Oilers in the Peewee B Division. Noah Browne had two goals and three points in the win, while Lukas Salkin had a goal and two points for the Panthers.
