There were two new cases of COVID-19 reported in Saskatchewan Saturday. 

One of the cases was in the southwest while the other is in Saskatoon. 

There were 19 recoveries also noted by the province, and now 117 of the cases are considered active.  

Five are in hospital, with four of them in intensive care in Saskatoon. 

There have been 1,597 cases in Saskatchewan overall. 

Of the 1,597 cases in the province:
* 231 cases are travellers;
* 823 are community contacts (including mass gatherings);
* 479 have no known exposures; and
* 64 are under investigation by local public health.

Overall in Saskatchewan:
* 65 cases are healthcare workers; however, the source of the infections may not be related to healthcare in all instances.
* There are:
o 412 cases from the south area (212 south west, 189 south central, 11 south east)
o 352 cases from the far north area (346 far north west, 0 far north central, 6 far north east)
o 257 cases from the north area (123 north west, 68 north central, 66 north east)
o 251 cases from the Saskatoon area
o 194 cases from the central area (161 central west, 33 central east)
o 131 cases from the Regina area
* 261 cases involve people 19 years of age and under, while the remainder are adults. 514 cases are in the 20-39 age range; 491 are in the 40-59 age range; 275 are in the 60-79 age range; and 56 are in the 80-plus range.

To date, 129,653 COVID-19 tests have been performed in Saskatchewan. As of August 20, 2020, when other provincial and national numbers were available from the Public Health Agency of Canada, Saskatchewan's per capita rate was 92,969 people tested per million population. The national rate was 133,923 people tested per million population.

Friday, 1,757 COVID-19 tests were performed in Saskatchewan.

In addition, the Saskatchewan Health Authority is notifying the public that an individual who tested COVID-19 positive visited the Designer Shoe Warehouse Harbour Landing location in Regina.

Friday, August 14 – 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Sunday, August 16 – 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Monday, August 17 – 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m.

Wednesday, August 19 – 12:00 noon to 8:30 p.m.

Public health officials are advising individuals who were at this location on the specified dates during the specified times to immediately self-isolate if they have had or currently have symptoms of COVID-19 and to call HealthLine 811 to arrange for testing. 

All other individuals who are not experiencing symptoms should self-monitor for 14 days. It is important to note that individuals may develop symptoms from two to 14 days following exposure to the virus that causes COVID-19.
