I thought I'd better have a good look before I commented.  I looked and I liked.  The 2017-18 edition of the Moose Jaw Warriors Hockey Club looks pretty good to me and two key pieces weren't even in the line-up on Saturday night.

The Warriors beat the Raiders in Prince Albert 3-0 on Friday and then beat 'em again, 7-3 in Moose Jaw on Saturday night.  Our guys won their first two games without two of our best players.  Brett Howden is still up in the NHL with Tampa Bay while Josh Brook is on the injured list to start the season.

Our team has balance with speed and size and it appears we have some team toughness.

You know, our Warriors have never won a league championship and have never appeared at the Memorial Cup.

I know there are still 70 games ahead and a lot of things could happen between now and the month of May but it sure would be nice to go up against the host Regina Pats in that Memorial Cup tournament 8 months from now.

No pressure.  It's just a thought.
