The Western Development Museum in Moose Jaw is holding a Volunteer Blitz this Saturday, November 18th at 2 p.m.

“It’s basically an information session about how to become a WDM volunteer, and the different volunteer opportunities that we have,” said Alexis Jones, the programs & volunteer coordinator with the Western Development Museum.

Volunteers are needed in areas including heritage demonstrations, special events, educational programs, interpreters, and conducting the K +S Potash Canada Short Line 101.

While most volunteers are adults, Jones said, there are some minors who volunteer as well.

Attendees will get a tour of the Museum and refreshments and learn about the opportunities to volunteer.
