SOLD OUT: Johnny Reid in Moose Jaw

You’ll probably notice a lot of increased traffic in the city to kick off the weekend.  

“Love Someone: An Intimate Evening with Johnny Reid” is taking over the Mae Wilson Theatre in downtown Moose Jaw on Friday night.  

The JUNO Award-winning singer-songwriter is one of 4 acts performing at the Cultural Centre in Moose Jaw this month. Find more information here

Moose Jaw Warriors VS The Brandon Wheat Kings  

The Warriors have a big game on Saturday night when they travel to Brandon. It's the fourth last game of the regular season schedule for the club. 

Moose Jaw is currently one point up on the Saskatoon Blades with two games in hand. 

The Warriors have clinched a playoff spot, now they continue to battle for home-ice advantage in the first round of the playoffs. 

You can catch all the action live on Country 100 with the voice of the Warriors, James Gallo on Saturday night, starting with the pre-game show at 5:40. 

Drama Fest: One-Act festival  

The Friday night session begins at 6:30 pm and features 4 plays for $12 at Centennial Auditorium in Peacock Collegiate.  

“Asylum” presented by Riverview Collegiate.

“Our Place” presented by Peacock Collegiate.

“Laurie and Lou” presented by Swift Current.

“That’s Not How I Remember It” presented by Central Collegiate. 

The Saturday session begins at 1 pm and features 3 plays for $12 at Centennial Auditorium in Peacock Collegiate. 

“And” presented by Vanier Collegiate.

“One Stoplight Town” presented by Cornerstone. 

“Myth-O-Logues” presented by Swift Current. 

Anywhere between 150-200 students are involved in the weekend and countless volunteers. 

“It's a labour of love for all of us as we celebrate creating these productions together and cheer each other along! It's inspiring and amazing to take in,” explained organizer, Janice Lamb. 

Moose Jaw Ukraine Rally  

The rally is being held Sunday, April 10th at 1 pm at the Crescent Park Amphitheater. The goal is to help Redcross humanitarian efforts, show support for local Ukrainian immigrants, and welcome any future immigrants looking to settle in Canada. 

Speakers, a dance group, vendors, and food will be found at the event.  

800 CHAB presents Alice Cooper at Mosaic Place   

Downtown Moose Jaw will be rockin’ on Sunday night.

Alice Cooper enjoyed his first visit to Mosaic Place so much, that he's coming back. This Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee will be bringing Buck Cherry along for the ride when the “Architect of Shock Rock” hits downtown Moose Jaw.
