A pair of former Moose Jaw Warriors have re-signed contracts with their NHL clubs.

Brook Laich re-signed with the Washington Capitals and Nathan Paetsch accepted the Buffalo Sabers one-year qualifying offer.

Shareholders of the Kamloops Blazers received an offer to buy the team from a group, which includes former Blazers, Shane Doan, Mark Recchi and Darryl Sydor.

In a vote, 49-38, the group decided not to take the 6 million-dollar offer.
