In Regina, Premier Brad Wall shuffled his cabinet Wednesday as a handful of ministers had stepped down to pursue leadership of the Saskatchewan Party.

Minister of Highways and Infrastructure, David Marit, retained his spot as well as was given the added responsibilities as the Minister of Sask Builds and Priority Saskatchewan. Which he says in some cases, the two intertwine with each other.

"I think it's almost a fit in with Highways and Infrastructure." said the Wood River MLA. "When you look at SaskBuilds and things around Priority Saskatchewan that we're trying to do, hopefully we can achieve some of those."

Marit said the last year has been a steep learning curve, but can look back on the past as successful.
