So, our friends and partners at Tim Hortons are promoting "All Day Breakfast" this week.  It's new and a big change for Canada's favourite coffee shop.  In fact, they delivered breakfast to the radio station yesterday AFTERNOON!

Oh, it'll work.  In fact, it's already working.  McDonald's and A & W started offering all day breakfast over a year ago and eggs sales at McDonald's alone are up 25%.  That's an increase of about 35 million eggs.

It's interesting to note, 732 million dozen eggs were produced in Canada last year.  That's about 8.8 billion eggs.  700 million breakfast sandwiches are eaten annually in Canada and eggs sales have increased 11 straight years.  Certainly, with Tim Hortons going with all day breakfast, those numbers will climb.

We're all winners here.  We can get breakfast 24 hours a day and local egg producers are going to cash in.

It's egg-citing.  And that's no yoke.
