I felt for the players when I saw and heard the video. In fact, I was so uncomfortable I was squirming in my seat.
A number of Ottawa Senators players, riding in a taxi cab, were talking about their special teams and complaining about their penalty kill - all-the-while cutting up one of their coaches. The cab driver shared that video and reportedly wrote the caption, "Cheap, entitled kids." Maybe he didn't get the tip he wanted.
Put yourself in their shoes and think about the times you and a co-worker may have spent some time talking about your day and, perhaps, cutting up your boss or supervisor. Now, what if someone captured it on video and shared it for all to see? Awkward and embarrassing it would be.
It all reminds me of one of my Dad's rules. "If you can't say anything good about someone, don't say it at all."
Not many of us can say we live by that rule, can we?
