Science tells us it's a good idea.  I believe science.  The studies and the stats show it's important for us, as a society, as a community, to be immunized with the influenza vaccine.

A new survey shows the majority of us in Saskatchewan, 73%, believe it's important to get the flu shot every year to help protect those who are more vulnerable.  However, only 59% say they plan on getting the vaccine this year.

London Drugs commissioned the Insights West poll which found some don't believe it's effective and others say it's unnecessary because they're healthy.  26% are concerned about side effects and 22% believe the vaccine will make them sick.

Science tells us the flu vaccine protects us from a number of different influenza strains and it also helps us "prevent the spread of illness to high risk individuals such as newborns, young children, pregnant women and adults with chronic medical conditions."

Science tells you and me to get the flu shot.  I will.  I think you should too.
