Go ahead, pull out all the cliches - Do or die, winner-take-all, win or go home...they all come into play tonight as our Moose Jaw Warriors host the Prince Albert Raiders in the 7th and deciding game of their first round WHL playoff series.

There are a number of local people who have a deep distaste for the Raiders organization and it goes back to way before tonight's combatants were born.

It stems from the years 1976 through 1982 when the Raiders won 7 straight SJHL championships.  The Moose Jaw Canucks were the opponents for 5 finals in a row.  We couldn't beat 'em.  It still haunts the players and the fans from that era and a number of them will be in attendance tonight.  Their desire for the Moose Jaw boys to beat Prince Albert will be so strong you'll be able to feel it in the air.

Let's just hope our hockey club plays with that desire.

Go Warriors!
