Today's story is delivered courtesy of Brent Butt.  Yes, Saskatchewan's own Brent Butt - on Twitter.

Brent's post reads:

"In a shoe store. Clerk goes in the back to find my size.  Comes out 5 minutes later...CLERK:  Computer says we have some but I can't find them.  (Long pause)  I guess I could keep looking, or...(Longer pause)  CLERK:  Probably take awhile.  ME:  Should I leave?  CLERK:  OK."

Now that is funny but, it's not.  You've probably experienced a similar situation.  I know I have.  I spent some time looking at a wall of gadgets and do-dads one day at a local store.  Finally, a clerk approached and I asked if they had the gadget I was looking for.  The clerk looked at the wall for about 5 seconds and then turned to me and with a smile said, "I don't know", and then just walked away.

Come on people.  We have to be better than that.
