So, Moose Jaw has a new city manager.  It's City Hall's top job and it pays well.

His name is Jim Puffalt.  He has experience as an administrator in Dauphin, Estevan and North Battleford.  He replaces Matt Noble who left under a cloud of controversy with legal action a possibility.

It makes one wonder if Mr. Puffalt knows what he's getting into.

From where I sit I see a problematic situation at Moose Jaw City Hall.  It seems to me a number of city councillors believe our city administration is the government and they are the opposition.  There are three and, at times four councillors who consistently question and on occasion berate the professionals we've hired to manage, direct and move our city into the future. It's not good.

Welcome to Moose Jaw, City Manager Jim Puffalt.  Good luck.  You're gonna need it.
