She arrived late Friday night and she's been busy ever since, attending events, talking with children in our schools and today she'll take to the skies out at 15 Wing.

Linda Otnes-Henriksen, the deputy mayor of Stor-Elvdal, Norway, is visiting Moose Jaw for what they're calling the "Moose Summit".  You know the story by now.  We're on a quest to make our Mac the Moose the tallest in the world after the folks in Stor-Elvdal stole that title by building a bigger moose.

It's a lot of fun and the locals are pointing out it's the publicity we're getting that makes it all worthwhile.  Deputy mayor Otnes-Henriksen says the same thing.

"Even in Norway, not everyone knows where Stor-Elvdal is so it's really placed us up there...it's just been amazing...We really just got on board with this and played along...it just turned out to be such a good story and everyone seems to love it," she said.

"Moose Truce", "Moose Summit"....it's all been very "A-Moosing", hasn't it?
