COPEMAN, Robert Dale “Bob”

On Friday, November 19, 2021, our wonderful Father and Grandfather was reunited with his beloved soulmate Colleen and son Jamie. There to welcome Bob home, his mother Muriel (Philip) Lawrence; father Joesph Sencenie; brother Leonard Copeman; grandparents-in-law Jim and Etta Black; and his Fur Buddies Teto, Diesel and Harley.  Left behind to cherish his memory, his daughter Bonnie-Lee (Blaine) Copeman Bender; grandchildren James Copeman, Jesse Copeman (Rhea Pasricha), Riley Copeman (Justyn Barnett) and McKenzie Copeman (Autumn Jones); “Adopted daughter” Pamela Lusk; special niece Renee Cooke; brother Ron (Jan) Copeman, sisters-in-law Kathy (Copeman) South and Corrine (Jim) French; cousins-in-law Janis Walker and Faye (Kip) Bernhardt; as well as nieces, nephews and his “Girls” Callie and Maddie.

Bob was born November 11, 1952 and grew up in the Semans area.  On April 10, 1971, he married the love of his life, Colleen. Together they raised two children: Bonnie-Lee and Jamie, making their home in Regina. It was during this time Bob set out on his career of driving trucks. After their children were grown and they welcomed their first two grandsons, James and Jesse, his wife Colleen followed her heart and joined Bob driving truck across Canada and the USA. Their grandson Jamie joined them on many trips and became their “little trucker.”  In February of 2000 tragedy struck when the family lost their son, brother and uncle, Jamie. In the fall of that year the family welcomed their twin grandchildren Riley and McKenzie. Though Bob was a man of few words, he was always the rock for the family and loved us all deeply and unconditionally.

The family wishes to thank Bob’s John Deere co-workers, EMS and the doctors and nurses at the Regina General Hospital Emergency Department who worked valiantly to save our Dad and Grandpa.  We appreciate the compassion and support you provided the family. To the many family and friends who reached out with support and love as we move through this journey of grief, we are not able to express our thanks enough. We are truly blessed to have you all.

Bob’s Celebration of Life will take place at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Friday, November 26, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. Family and friends so wishing, may make donations in memoriam to the Regina Humane Society, Box 3143, Regina, SK S4P 3G7.
