GEORGE ROBERT FARROW
1939 – 2018

George Farrow of Moose Jaw passed away on Monday February 12, 2018 at the age of 78. George began his life in Toronto, his entrepreneurial spirit carried him from the east to west coast of Canada, California, and all the way south to Atlanta. He eventually found himself in Moose Jaw where he owned and operated the Burger Baron and Brunswick Hotel. It was in Moose Jaw where he met and began his life with his loving wife Molly. George found great joy in watching Moose Jaw Warrior games having season tickets for many years; as well as cheering on the Saskatchewan Rough Riders. George will be remembered always for his unshakable strength and love for his family. George is predeceased by his parents Tom and Miriam Farrow; son James; brother Jim; sister Lois; son in law Craig, and stepson Shaun. George will be lovingly remembered by his wife Molly; children George (Kelly), Miriam, Kirsten (Jeremy), Kenton (Angelica); seven grandchildren and one great grandchild; sister Gale (Al); stepchildren Candace (Stephen), Carmen (Aaron); five step grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and his special furry friend Angus. The family would like to thank Dr. Johnson of Regina along with the staff at the Pasqua Hospital as well as Dr. Rinnisland and Pioneers Lodge-Memory Lane staff for their care and compassion. A Celebration of George’s life will take place on Saturday February 24, 2018 at 1:30PM at W. J. Jones Chapel, 106 Athabasca St E., Moose Jaw, SK. Rev. Dave Moore will officiate. For those wishing memorial donations may be made to the Moose Jaw Humane Society.
