The family of James Albert Weber sadly announce Jim’s sudden passing on Tuesday, February 13th, 2018. Jim was born on March 1st, 1947 in Yorkton, SK. He was predeceased by his parents, sister Florence and brother Larry.  Jim leaves to mourn his wife, Shirley; son, Terry; daughters, Coralee and Marcy; grandsons, Dylan (Kim) and Derek (Brittany); and great-grandson, Daxton.Jim is also survived by siblings: Bob, Fred (Lorie), Dot (Dave) Ansell, Yogi (Stacey), Tim (Judi) and Mary (Gord) Poole; as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews, and dogs Joey and Bernie. Jim worked for 32 years as a butcher for Moose Jaw Co-op and was a very active and proud member of his union UFCW Local 1400. Jim loved woodworking, model shipbuilding and doing renovations. He also loved taking photos, evidenced by a huge collection including daily photos of the progress on the new hospital and Mosaic Stadium. He was often found visiting with and checking in on family and friends. The Funeral Service will take place on Friday, February 23rd, 2018 at 11:00 AM in Moose Jaw Funeral Home with Pastor Bill Cantelon officiating.  Honorary pallbearers are Frank Moysey, Walter Ingold, Marcel Therien, Howard Turner, Gary Klein, Ken Thronberg, Paul Cook and Steve McDougall. Flowers are gratefully declined.
