As a young man, Stu worked at the BA Refinery on the east side of Moose Jaw. He retired from the plant after 30 years of service. After retirement, Stu moved to Fort Qu’Appelle to be with Willowe. Stu and Willowe kept busy, working side-by-side on a number of jobs - housecleaners, janitors at the high school, and for the majority of three decades as the managers, cleaners, and repair and maintenance persons of the laundromat in Fort Qu’Appelle. Stu and Willowe resided in Fort Qu’Appelle for 32 years before returning to Moose Jaw in 2017 to be closer to family. Stu enjoyed regular trips to Kananaskis country and British Columbia to visit the mountains, South Dakota to see the wild horses and bear country, and daily trips to the local countryside to check-out the wildlife, especially the deer. In the afternoon, Stu would watch Heartland and in the evening he enjoyed watching a movie about horses, the countryside and mountains. Stu loved music and was a skilled guitar player into his 90th year. He also loved strawberry milkshakes, waffles and chocolate. In keeping with the family’s wishes, a Private Family Graveside Service will be held at Sunset Cemetery in Moose Jaw, SK. Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  James Murdock, Funeral Director 306-693-4550 www.moosejawfuneralhome.com
