SAN ANTONIO, TX -- The Saskatchewan Selects football program is bringing back two trophies from the 2019 International Pigskin Classic in San Antonio, Texas.

The 10U Selects rolled through the competition, outscoring their opponents 95-14 on their way to a 3-0 record and the tournament championship.

They beat the Lubbock Seminoles 16-6 in the semi-final on Sunday morning.

The Selects then squared off with the rival Manitoba Selects in the final and came away with a dominating 39-8 win to capture the title.

The Varsity Selects headed back to the final for the second straight year, but came up short with a 26-6 loss to the host Alamo City Red Raiders in the final, under the lights, on Sunday night.

The 14U Selects lost 16-0 to the Chihuahua Broncos in the third-place game on Sunday.

The 12U Selects finished 0-3 after losing 38-0 to the Abilene Hurricanes in their final game on Sunday.
