The Moose Jaw 18U AA Canucks hit the diamond at Ross Wells Park over the weekend, splitting a pair of games.

On Friday night, the Canucks were able to come back from an early deficit to defeat the Lumsden Cubs 15-5.

Moose Jaw was down 5-0 after two innings of play, but managed to put up six runs in the third, four runs in the fourth, two runs in the fifth and three runs in the sixth for the win.

The Canucks were right back in action on Saturday, falling to the Regina White Sox 14-13.

Once again, the Canucks had to claw their way back into the ballgame. Down 14-6, Moose Jaw scored six runs in the sixth inning to keep the game close. Despite keeping the White Sox off the scoresheet in the top of the seventh, the Canucks could only muster up one run in the bottom of the inning.

The 18U AA Canucks are back in action on Tuesday night when they travel to Regina to take on the Buffalos.
