Regina found some momentum in the third when a walk, a single and a hit-by-pitch in a row loaded up the bases. Cole MacLean smacked a two-run single to give the Blue Jays a 2-0 lead.

The score stayed that way until the fifth when the Canucks' bats woke up.

Sam Caplette started the inning by reaching on a dropped third strike, he then advanced to third on an error. He would come around to score on a wild pitch to get Moose Jaw on the board.

O'Reilly and Nick Daly walked in back-to-back at-bats, but O'Reilly was thrown out at third on a bunt by Cole Breitkruez. Daly and Breitkruez would come around to score on another dropped third strike during Skarbon's at-bat, giving Moose Jaw a 3-2 lead.

A bases-loaded walk by Daly in the sixth added one run to the Canucks lead.

Moose Jaw added some insurance in the seventh inning.

Skarbon and Callaghan walked to open the frame. Skarbon came around to score on an error after a double steal attempt.

Caplette, O'Reilly and Breitkruez each drove in a run with singles to give Moose Jaw a six-run cushion heading into the home-half of the seventh where Ryley Gross struck out one and induced two other ground balls to finish off the win.

Gross threw two shutout innings with two strikeouts and two walks to close out the win.
