The basketball court at Central Collegiate will be busy on Boxing Day as players from the past lace up the high tops for a Central boys basketball alumni game.

Organizer Iden Tolley says they’ve got about 12 players committed to play so far, “We’re just going to make two teams.  We’ll see about numbers, it would be good if we could by graduating years and divide them up old against young if we can, but we’ll just divide them up and play for a couple of hours.”

Tolley says they're hoping for any former players in town will come out, “I’d liked to get sort of as mixed group of as we can.  I’ve spoken to some of the more recent grads, but definitely any of the years, we’d love to have them out.

“We tried one a few years ago and then we kind of got away from it, so I thought I’d try to get it start up again here, see who we could get out.”

The game will go at 2pm on Boxing Day in the Central gym.
