The Moose Jaw Midget Astros were back on the field on Monday and came away with their second straight loss as they fell 3-2 to the Assiniboia Aces in the Wood River Baseball League.

Moose Jaw opened the scoring in the first, bringing around one run and it would stay 1-0 until the fifth inning when the Aces struck for two to take the lead.

The Astros answered back in the sixth when Nolan Costley scored on an RBI-single by Kaiden Robins to tie the game at 2-2.

The Aces walked off with one run in the seventh for the win.

Riley Marshall pitched a complete game in the loss for the Astros, who are now 4-3 on the year.

Moose Jaw returns to the field on Wednesday when they host Glentworth at Montgomery Field. First pitch is at 6 p.m.
