The Western Hockey League’s 2020 bantam draft has been moved from a public affair in Red Deer in May to an online-only event April 22.

They, along with the rest of the CHL, announced Monday that the playoffs and Memorial Cup were cancelled.

The Bantam Draft lottery is still taking place Wednesday morning. There are 21 selection balls available for the teams that would have missed the playoffs, and the Warriors have five of them. They could pick either first, second or third overall once the lottery is over. The lottery will not be streamed live but video will be available afterwards.

The league also announced that the U.S. Prospects draft is also going ahead Wednesday.

The Warriors are drafting at 20 and 25 in the two round draft.
