The Lynbrook Golf and Country Club held their annual Labour Day Tournament on Monday with 63 golfers hitting the course for the one day event.

The Men's title came down to a battle of father and son.  Craig Benson came away the champion, beating his son, Trevor, by two strokes after firing a 74.

The Ladies' Championship went to Heather Pearson, who won by one stroke over Cherolyn Bailey, after shooting a 93 on Monday.

The Men's First Flight winner was Chris Hibbin, who shot an 82; the Second Flight went to Bob Turnbull with a score of 85; and the Third Flight was won by Garry Ross after he shot a 94.

The Ladies' First Flight winner was Adele Owatz with a 99.

There was also two closest to the pin titles handed out with the Ladies going to Deborah Larson on hole 5 and the Men's won by Ken Jattensingh on hole 7.
