The Saskatchewan Roughriders saw their three-game winning streak come to an end on Saturday afternoon with a 48-28 loss to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers at Investors Group Field.

In the second game of a home-and-home series, the Riders couldn't find the same magic that they had in last Sunday's Labour Day Classic.

Riders quarterback Kevin Glenn left the game with an injury in the third quarter. Glenn was 15-of-22 for 327 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions before the injury.

Brandon Bridge came into the game and finished 4-of-8 for 67 yards with an interception in the loss.

Duron Carter caught a touchdown for the sixth straight game, which tied a franchise record. He hauled in an 88-yard score in the first quarter that tied the game at 7-7.

Carter finished with just two catches for 96 yards.

Naaman Roosevelt led the Riders with four catches for 102 yards and he had a 75-yard touchdown during a back-and-forth second quarter.

The Riders scored a pair of touchdowns in the second, but they couldn't keep up with the Bombers, who scored 22 points in the frame to take a 29-20 lead heading into halftime.

Winnipeg didn't pull away completely until the fourth quarter when they extended their 38-28 lead by ten points for the win.

Quarterback Matt Nichols completed 24-of-37 passes for 282 yards and three touchdowns.

Clarence Denmark caught five passes for 65 yards and two touchdowns, while Maurice Leggett returned a punt 97 yards for a touchdown in the second quarter.

The Riders will return to the field on Friday when they head to Hamilton to face the Tiger-Cats in Week 13.
