Moose Jaw's Lorie Boyle came up just short of her eighth senior women's provincial golf championship title this week in Warman.
Boyle finished with a score of 230, 14-over-par, over the three days, eight strokes back of Kim Walker of Regina, who won her second title.
Representing the Hillcrest Golf Club, Boyle finished the first round in a tie for first place with Walker. Both shot a three-over-par, 75.
Walker would shoot a four-over-par, 76, in the second round to take a two-stroke lead of Boyle, who shot a six-over, 78.
Looking to make up ground, Boyle carded a five-over, 77, in the final round, but Walker shot a one-under-par, 71, to finish the tournament.
