And today marks a tragic anniversary. It was two years ago Monday evening that the Humboldt Broncos bus crashed on the way to Nipawin, killing 16 and injuring 13.

Survivors, families and fans will have no choice but to remember the crash victims in small groups or online, with travel restrictions and public gatherings in large groups are in place due to COVID-19 both provincially in Saskatchewan and in other provinces.

The city of Humboldt will intend to capture the bells of St. Augustine Catholic Church in a live feed from a special page on their website, beginning at 4:50, the approximate time of the crash, followed by a moment of silence.
