Moose Jaw Warriors Defenceman Josh Brook is on his way back to Moose Jaw after being re-assigned by the Montreal Canadiens following their rookie camp.

Brook was a second round pick, 56th overall, by the Canadiens in the 2017 NHL Draft. He suited up in one rookie for Montreal against Toronto, but left the game with an upper body injury.

He’s expected to rejoin the Warriors this week.

Forward Jayden Halbgewachs will be suiting up with the Vegas Golden Kings against the Los Angeles Kings in a rookie prospect game on Tuesday.

The Golden Knights announced on Monday that Halbgewachs had made it through to main camp and will be on the ice with the team through the weekend.

Brett Howden scored for the Tampa Bay Lightning in Sunday's rookie game against the Nashville Predators. Howden, Oleg Sosunov and the Lightning are back in action on Tuesday against the Preds.
