The Moose Jaw High School Junior Girls Volleyball League hit the court for games at three schools in Moose Jaw and Central Butte on Wednesday night.

The Vanier Spirits hosted a four-team round robin with the Peacock 10s putting together a perfect night on their way to a 6-0 record in their three games.

The host Spirits went 4-2, beating Rouleau in two sets (25-19, 25-23) and Caronport in two sets (25-20, 25-11), while losing to the Toilers in two sets (25-14, 25-23).

The Toilers also picked up a two-set win (27-25, 25-14) over Rouleau and another straight set win (25-5, 25-16) over Caronport.

In the final game of the night, Rouleau knocked off Caronport in two sets (25-12, 25-10).

Over at Riverview, the Avonlea Eagles had a good night, going 4-2 in a pair of three-set wins.

They beat the host Royals in three sets (25-18, 12-25, 15-7) to open the night and then downed the Peacock 9s in three sets (25-11, 16-25, 18-16).

Riverview won the other game, topping the Peacock 9s in two straight sets (26-24, 25-11).

Both Central Collegiate teams travelled out to Central Butte on Wednesday as well.

The Bulldogs swept both visitors in two straight sets, winning 25-20 and 26-24 over Central Red and then beating Central Gold, 25-8 and 25-21.

In the all-Central battle, Cyclones Red won in two sets (25-12, 25-13) over Cyclones Gold.
