Central’s Jadyn Palaschuk ran away from the competition to win the SHSAA senior girls provincial cross country title over the weekend. 

In was a banner day for Central, as Akuol Riak finished second in the senior girls event. 

To add to the successful provincial championship, Central also won the 4A team competition with Peacock finishing in second. 

In the senior boys’ division, Jacob King of Central was the top local finisher as he placed 19th. 

Brynn Kell of Central was the top Moose Jaw runner in the junior girls’ division, finishing in 13th place. 

Peacock’s Payton Kell would lead the local competitors in the junior boys’ category with a 16th place finished. 

In the intermediate divisions, Nikolina Kapovic of Peacock finished third for the girls and Kaeleb Tabin of Peacock finished 10th for the boys.
