When the UBC Thunderbirds and University of Saskatchewan Huskies take to the ice in Saskatoon this weekend, some Moose Jaw connections will be on the ice.

Defenceman Tanner Faith is with UBC and played one season with the Warriors, scoring 24 points in 59 games in 2015-16.

Forward Donovan Neuls played with the Moose Jaw Generals for two seasons, scoring 36 goals and 52 assists in 87 regular season games from 2012-14, before embarking on a four year career with the Seattle Thunderbirds.

He joins Andrew Johnson on the Huskies, who played three seasons with the Warriors from 2011-2013 before finishing his WHL career with Seattle and Swift Current.

Game 1 is Friday night in Saskatoon.
