The Colts struck first in the Moose Jaw Senior Ladies Fastball League final on Monday night at Caribou Heights, picking up a 7-0 win over the Hustlers.

Kim Neithercut led the charge for the Colts, throwing a complete game shutout, while also going 3-for-4 at the plate with two doubles.

She allowed just six hits in the win.

Caralie Wait drove in two runs for the Colts, while Neithercut and Keri Merkel each finished with one RBI.

Taylor Phillips started for the Hustlers and went three innings, giving up five runs on five hits with six walks. Rachelle Grado finished off the final three innings, allowing two runs on two hits.

The two sides are scheduled to play game two on Tuesday night, but the game may be pushed back to Wednesday due to the rain. First pitch will be at 6:30pm.
