Cornerstone Sr Girls were 2A Conference Champions this past Saturday.

The girls played Strasbourg in the first game and won 25-18, 25-18.  The next round robin game was against Gravelbourg and they won again in straight sets 25-18, 25-11.

This put them first in their pool so they played Southey in the cross-over match and won easily 25-16, 25-17.  This set up a gold medal rematch vs Strasbourg and this time it was a lot closer, but the girls managed to bear down and complete the perfect day winning 26-24, 25-19.

They are now off to the South East regionals in Regina this Saturday.

The top 2 teams from each regional are off to provincials.  There are 72 teams in the 2A girls division so it is no easy task to make provincials.
