Cornerstone Christian School picked up a thrilling five-set victory over Central Collegiate on Thursday night at Central in senior boys’ high school volleyball action. 

Cornerstone won the first set 26-24, before Central would take the next two sets 26-24 and 25-21. Cornerstone would tie it up with a 25-21 win in the fourth set and grinded out a 18-16 win in the fifth and deciding set. 

The other senior boys’ game on Thursday night saw Vanier pick up a home court win, defeating Riverview in three straight sets 25-9, 25-11 and 25-21. 

A game scheduled between Peacock and Briercrest Christian Academy in Caronport was postponed to a later date. 

In the lone senior girls’ game on Thursday night, Central defeated Vanier three sets to one, 22-25, 25-16, and 25-14
