The 9th annual Moose Jaw Invitational Cross Country Meet went on Wednesday down in Wakamow Valley with a total of 263 runners taking part from local elementary and high schools.

Vanier's Morgyn Olmstead won in the High School Senior Girls division, while Peacock's Daniel Ferguson was first in Senior Boys.

The 263 runners was a new high for the event.
