Saskatchewan Roughriders slotback Weston Dressler looks like he's rounding back into form after putting together an outstanding performance in Sunday's win over Ottawa.

The speedy slotback was named CFL Player of the Week on Tuesday for his efforts in the Riders' 35-32 double overtime comeback win at Mosaic Stadium.

Dressler finished his fourth game back in the CFL with 228 total yards – 125 receiving and 103 return – which included a 78-yard punt return for a touchdown and a highlight reel 60-yard touchdown catch. He also added a two-point conversion.

In four games this season, Dressler has 16 catches for 210 yards and two touchdowns. He's also added 13 punt returns for 219 yards and two touchdowns.

This is the 11th time this season that a Rider player has earned a CFL Player of the Week honour.

The Riders return to practice on Wednesday for their only workout this week in Regina. They leave for Edmonton on Thursday and take on the Eskimos in a key West Division battle on Friday at Commonwealth Stadium.
