For the first time since 2012, Team Canada is on top in Davos, Switzerland at the Spengler Cup.

Canada won it's 13th Spengler Cup title with a 4-3 win over HC Lugano on Thursday.

Former Moose Jaw Warriors defenceman Keaton Ellerby scored Canada's first goal of the game that tied the game late in the first period.

Matt D'Agostini scored the game-winning goal with 8:13 gone in the third period, while Derek Roy and Tom Pyatt scored the other goals for Canada early in the second.

Jeff Glass made 31 saves in the win for Canada, who completed an undefeated run through the tournament.

Rouleau's Keith Aulie is the only Saskatchewan-born player on Team Canada.

Ellerby had one goal and two points in two games for Canada during the tournament.
