Moose Jaw's Libby Epoch and the Saskatchewan Huskies will play for bronze at the 2019 U Sports Women's Basketball National Championship in Toronto.

The Huskies lost 73-66 to the McMaster Marauders in the national semi-final on Saturday at Mattamy Athletic Centre, formerly Maple Leaf Gardens.

Epoch finished with six points, nine assists and five rebounds in the loss, while Summer Masikewich led the Huskies with 21 points and 12 rebounds.

Sarah Gates paced McMaster's attack with 21 points, while Hilary Hanaka added 19 and six rebounds.

The other semi-final saw the Laval Rouge et Or win 60-56 over the Ottawa Gee-Gees.

Saskatchewan and Ottawa will now meet in the bronze medal game at 1 p.m. on Saturday, while Laval faces McMaster in the national championship game at 5:30 p.m.

Moose Jaw's Macaela Crone and the Regina Cougars lost 63-45 to the Ryerson Rams in the consolation semi-final on Friday.
