Adam Evanoff is heading into the post-season playing some of his best hockey of the season.

The Moose Jaw Warriors netminder was named WHL Goaltender of the Week on Monday after winning both of his starts during the final week of the regular season.

He's the sixth Warrior to win a WHL weekly award this season, joining Brayden Tracey, Justin Almeida, Jett Woo and Tristin Langan.

Evanoff posted a 1.50 goals against average and a 0.945 save percentage as he stopped 52 of 55 shots over the two wins.

The 18-year-old has put together a strong second season with the Warriors, going 19-10-2-1 over 36 games with a 2.62 GAA, a 0.916 save percentage and one shutout. Evanoff has won 34 of his 56 regular season appearances.

Evanoff will now lead the Warriors into the 2019 WHL Playoffs where they open the first round against the Saskatoon Blades on Friday in the Bridge City.
