Kevin Glenn made CFL history to open the week.

The former Saskatchewan Roughriders quarterback signed a one-year contract with the Edmonton Eskimos on Monday, making Glenn the first player in CFL history to be a part of every existing CFL franchise.

Glenn just wrapped up his third stint with the Riders after being released on Jan. 4 following Saskatchewan’s addition of veteran quarterback Zach Collaros.

In 2017, Glenn suited up in 17 games for the Riders, throwing for 4,038 yards and 25 touchdowns.

The 39-year-old pivot started his CFL career with the Riders in 2001 before joining the Winnipeg Blue Bombers from 2004-08. The next three seasons were spent with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, followed by two seasons with the Calgary Stampeders, one in B.C. and two seasons with the Montreal Alouettes in 2015-16.

Glenn has never played for Toronto or Ottawa, but both teams have owned his rights at one point.

In 268 career CFL games, Glenn has the sixth-most passing yards in CFL history (52,867).
