Former Moose Jaw Warriors captain Jason Bast is changing teams in Germany.

Bast will play for Adler Mannheim next season after spending a season with Kolner Haie. He scored eight goals and nine assists in 46 games last season.

Mannheim announced the player transfer yesterday.

This is Bast's fourth German team in four years. He hit German league career highs in 2018-19 with Nuremberg with 15 goals and 20 assists in 50 games, and added seven assists in eight playoff games.

Bast spent five seasons with the Warriors, and has spent the last several seasons in Europe after three years at St. Francis Xavier University.

He has a franchise record 331 career regular season games with the Warriors, scoring 114 goals and 140 assists for 254 points.
