Matt Froehlich continues to lead the pack in the Original 16 Cash League after Wednesday night's action at the Moose Jaw Ford Curling Centre.

Froehlich's DNT Paintless Dent Repair rink won 7-5 over Ben Gamble's Boston Pizza rink on Wednesday to improve to 8-0 on the year, while Gamble falls to 4-3 with the loss.

Steals were the key to the win for Froehlich. Gamble opened up the game with two in the first end, but Froehlich would score singles in the second, third and fourth to come away with a 3-2 lead after four.

In the fifth, Gamble took control, scoring three for a 5-3 lead, but Froehlich didn't go away and tied the game with two in the sixth. He won thanks to steals of one in the seventh and eighth ends.

In other action on Wednesday night, Bob Desjarlais' Kal Tire rink kept pace, improving to 7-1 with a 6-2 win over Brett Behm's Moose Jaw Funeral Home rink, while Joel Jordison and the Seaborn Insurance rink fell to 6-2 thanks to a 5-4 loss to Ryan Wenarchuk and the Johns Music rink (4-4).

Murray Stroeder's BNC Truck and Trailer rink sits at 6-2 after picking up a 9-3 win over Joe Gunnis' EMJ Marketing rink (1-7); Derek Owens and the BTN Chartered Accountants rink (6-1) won 10-2 over Donna Ackerman and the Misfitz rink (2-6); Terra Grain Fuels' Ralph Courtnage rink (6-2) used a three-point second end for a 6-3 win over Jerry Cherneski's Chillers rink (3-5); Warren Marcotte's Keons rink picked up their first win (1-7), beating Wade Gray's Protect Video rink (3-5), 11-5; and Lorraine Arguin's Easy Care Living rink (3-5) won 6-5 over the Patrick Ackerman rink (2-6).
