After a season that was limited by COVID restrictions, Moose Jaw Minor Hockey is eager to get the year started and get the kids back on the ice.

President of Moose Jaw Minor Hockey, Chris Flanagan said "It's full steam ahead, we're busy right now, we just finished with our U-15 and U-18 tier evaluations, we have U-13 coming up this weekend, U-11 the weekend after that and then we move into our house evaluations."

Even with tier evaluations underway, registration for Moose Jaw Minor Hockey is still open. Flanagan said "We're accepting registrations up to the day of and even after, We just want kids to play hockey and we'll work with families the best we can regarding payment plans and that sort of thing. We'll never turn a kid away."

As it stands right now there are no restrictions from Sask Hockey or the Provincial Government when it comes to hitting the ice. While municipalities may have mask protocols etc relating to COVID, once the kids hit the ice it's back to business as usual.

For parents wanting to get their kids signed up for this season of hockey, you can find all the information on the Moose Jaw Minor Hockey website.
