The Moose Jaw Generals lost their third straight game on Friday night, falling 3-1 to the Swift Current Legionnaires at the Credit Union Iplex.

Skyler Sangster broke up the Legionnaires’ shutout with just one second remaining in regulation.

After a scoreless first period, Jacob Piller and Owen Ozar scored for Swift Current in the second to give them 2-0 lead.

Mason Strutt found the back of the net just 19 seconds into the third period on the power play to give the Legionnaires some more breathing room. It ended up being enough with the Generals stifled until the final seconds.

Generals goalie Jake Davidson made 31 saves in the loss, while Cody Levesque turned away 24 of 25 Generals’ shots in net for the Legionnaires.

The Generals will close out their pre-Christmas schedule on Sunday when they host the Regina Pat Canadians at Mosaic Place. Puck drops at 1:30 p.m.
