A late power play goal in the first period ended up being the difference for the Saskatoon Blazers on Friday night.

The Moose Jaw Generals lost 3-2 to the Blazers at the Harold Latrace Arena in Saskatchewan Midget AAA Hockey League action.

Brayden Camrud scored his first of two goals on the power play with 1:37 to go in the first period.  The Blazers and Generals would trade goals in the second and third, making Camrud’s goal the difference.

Caleb Reiss and Tyson Manz scored for Moose Jaw in the loss, while goalie Colby Entz allowed three goals on 31 shots.

The Generals were 1-for-4 on the power play and 2-for-3 on the penalty kill.

Moose Jaw returns to the ice on Sunday afternoon at Mosaic Place when the Generals welcome in the Prince Albert Mintos.  Puck drops at 1:30 p.m.
