The Moose Jaw Giants and Canadians men's fastball teams opened up their Rambler Park League season facing off against each other at Memorial Field on Tuesday night, with the Giants coming out on top 7-2.

The Giants got off to a quick start going up 5-0 before the Canadians broke through with a run in the bottom of the second inning.

Home runs were hit by Joe MacDonald for the Giants and Dane Roy for the Canadians.

Al Muhle had a strong outing on the mound for Giants, only allowing four hits.

The Giants are back in action Thursday against the Golden Hawks and the Canadians will face the Standing Buffalo Dakotas on Friday. Both games are at Rambler Park in Regina.
