The Grey Cup oozes with history, 100 years of it to be exact, and that will be on display on Thursday morning when the iconic trophy along with the Grey Cup 100 Train coming rolling into town.

"It's a train going from coast-to-coast, it's a three-car train wrapped in CFL history," explains Josh Zimmer, a local spokesperson for the event.  "The first car is a history based car, the second is a locker room car and the third will have the actual Grey Cup in it, so that you can get your picture taken with it.

"(The train) is going to have old Rider alumni jerseys, some of the old school helmets and pictures from the three Grey Cups that we have won."

Members from all three Saskatchewan Roughriders Grey Cup teams will be on hand for the event, including the great George Reed, Don Narcisse, Matt Dominguez and Moose Jaw's own, Scott Schultz as they look to get reacquainted with the trophy they've all lifted.  They will all be signing autographs from noon until 2:00pm.  The Roughrider Cheer Team and Gainer the Gopher will also be on hand

The event isn't all history either, there will be some fun to be had as well says Zimmer, "We have a football toss and Safeway has been kind enough to donate 700 hot dogs for us, so we're going to have a barbeque, which is free to the public, but we will be taking donations for breast cancer research."

The Grey Cup Train pulls into the CP Rail Yard at 11:00am and the main festitivies get underway at around 12:00pm with the RCMP bringing in the Grey Cup.  The trophy will be on display until 3:00pm for you to get your picture taken with it.
